Powered by a 240-hp Lycoming O-435-4 engine, this variant was used extensively as a training platform by the U.S. Navy at NAS Pensacola, until 1957. There were a total of 29 constructed between 1951-1953, and it's rumored that this may be one of only two still in existence today.
