Central Steam Plant Image Source: Personal Collection

The gutted concrete shell in the center of this photograph, once served as the central steam plant for the blimp base. In the background, you can clearly see the two gigantic towers of Hangar A, which supported a massive timber box-beam. She burned down in August, 1992.
