Blimp Hangar B is the largest free-standing wood structure in the world. It towers 192 feet above the surrounding landscape, and spans a length of 1,086 feet. Easily visible from Highway 101, are the letters spelling out: AIR MUSEUM. These block letters are 100 feet high.
