Hangar B - Setting Last Truss Image Source: National Archives (71-CB-138L-33)

The last truss was set on May 26, 1943. The two over-sized derrick cranes in the foreground, were specially designed to construct each of the blimp hangars at NAS Tillamook. To keep them in unison during construction, the cranes were mounted on a double rail track.
