Hangar B - Looking East Image Source: National Archives (80-G-78739)

In the background of this photo taken on August 11, 1943, you can see most of the main post area. Meanwhile, Hangar B is quickly nearing completion. All that remains at this point, is the construction of a six-segment door for each end of the hangar. The doors will weigh 180 tons.
