Hangar A - Looking NE Image Source: National Archives (80-G-78751)

This picture was taken on August 11, 1943, at an altitude of 400 feet. Nearly 1/2 of the arch trusses have already been set, and Hangar A will be complete over the next 16 days. The clearing on the hill in the background, will be the location of a 750,000 gallon reservoir.
