Comments: Very
Good Website! NAS Lakehurst was commissioned as a Naval Air Station June of
1921, and still is going strong. We were considered for closure in 1995, but we
are still a very valuable asset to Naval Aviation. We celebrated our 80th
anniversary this past year, and as long as there is Naval aviation, there will
be a Naval Air Engineering Station Lakehurst. Please visit our website at
www.lakehurst.navy.mil to learn how we support the
warfighter in the 21st century. |

Comments: I was
stationed at NAS Tillamook from OCT 1944 to NOV 1945 in the HEDRON unit. I
would be interested in hearing from anyone stationed there during this time.

Comments: Hi
Chris Cozzetto! I did a search on our last name and I am wondering how you
would be related to me. I am from Windsor originally. My dad's name is Carlo
Cozzetto and my nonno's name is Silvio Cozzetto. We are from Calabria. I know I
have some relatives in Spokane, Washington. Anyhow, Thought I would drop you a
line. Take care. |

Comments: Does
the Airship Squadron have reunions? I spent three years there (at the base)
from 1943 to 1946. |
