I'm trying to evaluate some military effects of a Dale W. Thoresen, ARM2c who was assigned to ZP33, NAS Tillamook. I have metallic wings (2 sizes), bullion wings, Liberty Card, airship sew-on patch, leather cap and a few other items. Can you point me to a collector who might assist in this?

My ex-wife and I had done some work around the air museum with Paul Class, for the Oregon Electric Railway Museum back in 1995. I really enjoyed getting to see the museum, and some behind-the-scenes stuff. What interested me the most, was the size of Hanger B, and especially how big Hanger A (or what is left of it) was.

I really enjoyed this piece of history. To see the size of the hangar is amazing. I've never been closer to the blimp housing than Highway 101, so the pictures were a real treat. Thanks.

Hello! I thought it would be interesting to see the pictures and read about the history of a Naval Air Station that not too many people know about. I visited NAS Tillamook in 1993, when I was on a detachment with my then squadron HCS-5 during the Rose Festival in Portland, OR. I was surprised to see a visitor brochure to the museum there, so a few of my shipmates and I decided to visit.

Is there any chance of getting a good, quality copy of your picture of the Tillamook Air Museum? I need one for publication (with credit of course,) for an article I wrote. I lost the ones I took when my computer crashed. The pictures I saw that you had on the web were very good.
