I was a weekend warrior at NAS Lakehurst in the 1950's (part of the Air Wing Staff). I Enjoyed your site. John Michael Gunset San Diego, Ca.

Comments:
I was a member of the 1st graduating class of aircraft mechanics, in 1951. This was a U.S. Air Force program, ran by the Arlington Aeronautical School of Flight & Engineering. I have many fond memories of the base and the entire Tillamook area. Have you ever heard from other members of the Air Force who were stationed there? If so, could you put me in touch with them? Thank you so much. This is a great site.
