housed in the historic Hangar B at Tillamook, which is now home to one of the
top-five privately owned collections of vintage aircraft in the U.S. The
website itself offers limited content, but it is worth a quick look. Visiting
the museum itself, is a must. |

Tillamook Bay The port is now responsible for
maintaining the many buildings that once composed NAS Tillamook. After
exploring their quaint little website, we're sure you will understand why the
town of Tillamook is known as: "the land of cheese, trees, and ocean

County Pioneer Museum Even though it is regarded as the
largest repository of documents, artifacts, and media related to NAS Tillamook,
it also boasts a surprisingly large collection of local history. Many NAST
items are currently on loan to the Tillamook Air Museum. |

a new state-wide history preservation project, the Blue Book is composed of
many chapters, and is intended as an online history exhibit. This link leads
directly to chapters related to World War II, and glances such subjects as NAS
